About Pamela Harty

Pamela Harty joined The Knight Agency in the summer of 2000, and has placed hundreds of titles in a broad range of categories, including; health, parenting, southern history, African-American interest, business, motivation, romance, young adult, children’s, middle grade, and Christian living. Recent sales include books to Penguin Putnam, Grand Central, Random House, Simon and Schuster, Harper Collins, Harlequin/Silhouette, Thomas Nelson, Water Brook, McGraw Hill, and Baker/Revell. She brings to the agency a successful sales background combined with a genuine love of books. Says Pamela, “Agenting is my dream job. I get to read for a living while working with incredibly talented people in a competitive and challenging industry. It’s a great time to be in publishing where there are more opportunities than ever before for writers.”

Pamela serves as The Knight Agency’s Vice President of Sales, and belongs to the Association of Authors’ Representatives and Romance Writers of America.

About Kim Jackson

Kim grew up in Roswell, Georgia when Roswell was still considered a rural town and has lived in Madison, Georgia for the past twenty-five years. A graduate of Georgia State University with a degree in Communications, she has enjoyed a varied career path; working in the motion picture industry, Public Relations Director for the Arabian Nights Dinner Theater in Orlando, Florida and always training and riding horses. Kim is an award winner journalist with articles published in both national and regional publications including Arabian Horse World, Horse and Rider Magazine, The Farrier’s Journal and locally as editor for the Smith Communications line up of magazines. She understands all facets of the publishing world and has brought these skills together in Centurion Press USA, a book publishing and printing company located in Madison, Georgia. “Everyone has a story to tell. Just ask them and you will be entertained,” says Kim.

Amanda holds a BS in Biology from Georgia College & State University. She began her career as an educator with the Georgia Department of Natural Resources. After leaving the DNR, Amanda became a formal educator with Baldwin County School System and Jasper County School System. Amanda began her museum career at the Museum of Arts and Sciences (MAS) in Macon, Georgia, where she served as Curator of Environmental Science
(2011-2020). While at MAS, Amanda developed a love for sharing the world around us with the many students who visited on school field trips. During her time as Curator of Environmental Science, Amanda launched a storytime
program for preschool children.

Since 2020, Amanda has been serving Georgia Writers Museum as a volunteer on the Education Committee. Amanda has brought her love of sharing stories with students by launching Peaches’ Reading Pasture. As Museum Manager, Amanda looks forward to serving the community and helping to inspire those within our community to put words to paper and share their stories.

Amanda was born and raised in nearby Shady Dale, Georgia. Her husband, Rodney, is a native of Eatonton, and they currently reside in Putnam County. They have three children.
